Blepharoplasty or eye surgery is designed to reshape the upper or lower eyelid. This procedure is done by the removal of excess tissue of either or both of the two regions. It also involves the reinforcement of muscles and tendons in these areas to improve functionality. Blepharoplasty is also used to reposition the skin. Its general purpose is to clear the field of impaired vision.
